another way is to tap it with your finger then show it the rat to lick off. they should keep following your finger back for more water and realise its coming from the bottle tap

My newborns just watched their momma and copied her. I didn't need to do any of this. They learn most things on their own.

Very cool...great information. I love it when I get to learn something new! Your rattie is so sweet looking.
Funny how she looks everywhere but where the chicken skin is! Lol. Mine are the same way.
