I completely agree! Some deaf people look for excuses. Drives me nuts and ruins our reputation. Makes it harder for the "good" Deaf people to get access to things like jobs, services, etc.

Wow, interesting! I agree that by using an excuse such as "Because I'm Deaf!" is not very good move for most part. I couldn't say it at all unless I have facts when a hearing person says such as that they will not hire me is BECAUSE I'm deaf, simple as that.
But for me to walk around saying "Oh because I'm Deaf" on everything, it's silly.

It's one thing for Hearing people to use that excuse against us but a whole other thing when Deaf use it for themselves
