The Spirit of Khmer Krom: Dedicated to Cambodian Children

The Spirit of Khmer Kampuchea Krom is a patriotic song written by Hon. Thach Setha, dedicating to all heroes, patriots and Cambodian Children.

These photos were shot during my recent trip to Cambodia (video will be available later on)

All I would like to say is: I was heart-broken while I was there. My people came in all forms begging all directions. I couldn't make my move like a normal human being wherever I went. I sometimes had to run to catch the ride so my eyes won't see the poor.

I was devastated to see the suffering of my own blood! These photos and the visit I will always remember.

The suffering of Cambodia has been very deep...Compassionate has been very few...
"May all beings be freed from suffering"

p.s. I sneaked out to my homeland without my parents or any siblings know because they would never approve my request as always. I was planning to be there for only one week, but had to stay for another because I lost all my travel documents just a day before my return flight. Explanation was expected by my Mother, the only queen in the house and that was about time I had to confess...

Les territoires Khmers Krom sont les seul et unique d'où les Siams n'étaient pas envahit.

So sad, when we lost Kampuchea Krom to the Vietnam in 1949. Thanks a lot Barang Sek for illegally giving away our to the invaders! It pains me to know the history of Kampuchea Krom people, my father is Khmer Krom and he and his family were forced to even change their last names to a one of the 10 Vietnamese names given only to Khmer Krom people as a form of control to indentify Khmer Krom people! I'm so angry at the Vietnamese and sad for all that Khmer Krom people have had to endure.
