had I tried to do a true version, I would have kept the timing, but I had time constraints and did my own arrangement to it that contained my own sections as well.

So, yes it was intentionally played different, but I understand your frustration with people playing it wrong.

Yeah- if Led Zeppelin themselves started today and released their first album- would it even make the shelves? Its crazy how the music systems get better but the music is getting worse. I think I'll have to try and do something about that... : )

lol 2:50 and 3:15 was so dramatic with a pick. Have you ever tried playing this with finger picks? It's hard to learn, but way easier after that. It's the right way to play it, but frankly I like it with the pick because you get such a dramatic sound out of it.
