What did Jesus accomplish on the Cross? Some say He came to make it possible to be saved. Others say that He came to save every single person who ever lived from Hell. What does the Bible say, though? What was Jesus's mission as told by the Bible? Listen to Jim McClarty explain from the Scriptures what Jesus accomplished.

  • How come it says the video is no longer available? was the video removed from youtube or is the problem with me?

  • It's working fine for me. Try installing the latest edition of Adobe Flash. Use the latest 9 version. Don't use the 10 beta. I was having the same problem when I was using that beta.

  • That fool said that IF ALL sin is forgiven, that includes the sin of unbelief.

@ 10:56..."well you have to believe."

McClarty goes on to say... @ 11:26

"So you say Jesus did not die for the sin of UNBELIEF."

Those are the words of SATAN

McClarty is saying that an unbeliver may be saved, in his unbelief.

That is a LIE OF THE DEVIL!

  • "McClarty is saying that an unbeliver may be saved, in his unbelief."

Um... you didn't apply the logic correctly. We believe that faith is given as a gift. We do not believe that people can be saved without that gift which is exactly what he was talking about. Do you believe that unbelief is a sin?

  • Thanks Lane; this helped to clarify limited atonement for me, which was needed. Our Lord is good.

  • I loved this message. One of the best I've ever heard. Thanks for sharing!

  • this man hates Jesus he's missionar from russia : don t believe him => commercials

  • @Kuvhinyi or GOD chose to remove their names when He was electing some to eternal life. Of course, "blotted out" could be another way of saying that the non-elect were never written in the Book of Life in the first place.

  • @LaneCh McClarty has missed it............the predestination at the end makes him a Calvinist which is as wrong as Pelagianism.............if only the saints had thier names written in the book of life...................how does he explain Rev 3: 5 .............

.who are these whose names were blotted out of the book of life...............................I say all the names were in the book of life but some chose to BE not in Christ ......................

  • Get rid of the carved image. It's a commandment! ~Exodus 20:4

  • @kelark I don't get the church from that verse. I get it from the context. 14 “And to the angel of the church in Laodicea write: ‘The words of the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of God's creation.

22 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.’”

  • So the church is now an "anyone" and "him". Him is an interesting pronoun for the Bride of Christ. How youy got the church from this verse borders on magic;-)

Jesus does not knock to enter his church.

  • @kelark That verse is out of it's right context. It is about a church, not our hearts.

  • @SlaveOfCrist It's a shepherd's crook. Decidedly not pagan.
