Obama Fried Chicken in China

A fast-food restaurant in Beijing called Obama Fried Chicken was derided in America yesterday as a racist rip-off. Its sign shows a grinning caricature of President Obama's head on a skinny version of Colonel Sanders' body.

Below it, written in Chinese, is the slogan: "We're so cool, aren't we?" Rev. Al Sharpton told The Post that the sign is "insulting, offensive and plays to racial stereotypes." The Washington Post's Blog contacted a KFC China spokesperson, who said the company is not pleased with the Obama Fried Chicken logo.

"We're considering legal action as it is a knock-off and has nothing to do with us and it infringes on our brand trademark," the spokesperson said in a statement. "We find it distasteful." What could also be considered distasteful is the commercial for the Chinese KFC chain, which depicts an Obama lookalike giving an impassioned speech before supporters, when, all of a sudden, a giant fish filet sandwich falls from the air and crushes him dead... the crowd then cheers louder. i took it as a joke. people get so offended for stupid shit. i am not a fan of china or obama. but i thought it was funny how china saw what i see that the president thinks he's cool and doesn't do much when he should be worrying about our economy. get your wife off disney too. i am sick of it and sick of them. that's what i saw this video/ joke as. i am in no way racist though. i can see where people find it racist that they picked KFC but that's it.

Its no secret that Chinese people hate Blacks and also Japanese. They learned their racism from the same folks who called them chinks so while they are making their racist jokes to fit into the "club" folks are laughing at them. Racism against blacks was in china way before Obama was elected. Folks that cheer on this ad are just ignorant assholes and hide behind their racism with "political displeasure"..sure, dont like Obama but dont offend people because of the color of their skin.
