Keith Ikaia-Purdy in a recording made in 2007 sings Rodolfo's aria "Che gelida manina" and the following duet "O soave fanciulla" with soprano Barbara Dobrzanska as Mimì from Giacomo Puccini's opera La Bohème. I have previously uploaded another clip with Keith Ikaia-Purdy singing this aria in another production.

I disagree. He briefly looked at the monitor and I heard no starined top. Considering that the video must have been recorded by an amatuer, the audio was fantsastic.

It would be awesome if he didn't stare at the monitor the whole time. It's a strained top as well. Doesn't fit the tessitura of the aria very well. Soprano is nice.

I have just seen Ikaia-Purdy last night in Stuttgart in Carmen. For my son, a tenor, and me this was the first non-German dramatic tenor we have heard in many seasons. Wonderful here too as Rudolf in more lyric repertoire. The soprano I know from a fantastic Mefisto a few months back. Excellent performances, make us remember that in spite of horrible stage pictures today, opera lives still.
