I had stopped bothering with Washer some time ago because of his Calvinism and what I saw as his negative dead preaching - but this is 'spot on'.

I've never heard him like this before and I trust the editing isn't misleading. It reminds me of Spurgeon somewhat. Spurgeon was also someone whose preaching often didn't match his theology.

I will listen to some more 'recent' Washer stuff after hearing this excellent message based on the prodigal.

This is truly God's heart.
