  • Yep. The video doesn't justify quite how slippery and steep that was. To give you an idea, we would have to hold the 4x4 while walking around so we wouldn't slip over.

  • Nothing to do with 4wd type. It's down to tyres and skill. And lack of lockers...

  • Tis a tale of sacrifice, support for my fellow 4W driver and heroism.

    A ROVER got stuck and drowned whilst attempting a river crossing. I was required to enter the river, again, and recover it. Whilst stationary in the water, waiting to be hooked-up, water slowly entered the Rodeo. As a consequence, it seems that water got into the 4WD componentry and his remained locked in low range 4WD.

    BTW, the Rodeo successfully pulled out the Rover which was full of water.

    PS: Pajero's leek like a siv.

  • Looks like I need to teach you how to attack the mud also......when I get the superior rodeo back. :-)
