When Eastern Youth first started, I believe they were called The Scanners. You can find some rare songs from them on the internet on some RAC/SSS zines - though they are tough to come by. I didn't find them on any released compilation/CD. I think you'd like them very much, it's much more pop sounding though. They had five songs on the tape: Cold Wind, Born to Fight, Grip on Truth - the other is in Japanese or something. I really like SSS music I collect some vinyls. :)
This song in particular isn't too off from their stlye now but if you watch some of the other videos here, the songs they wrote as part of the Oi/skinhead movement were more intense than anything they play now. i would call them indie rock, since I tend to associate the term "j-rock" with bands like L-Arc En Ciel
