Whatever is on the other side of that door is going to get torn to shreds. Dachshunds are so mischievous like that.

My cat can open any door that is not locked just by sticking his pawn under it and pulling it.

There's a rule that all dog owners should be aware to follow. If you have a large-breed dog, DO NOT have those lever-style doorknobs! It will take a smart dog perhaps a week to figure out that if he puts his nose underneath the lever and lifts up, the door will open. Once he makes the initial discovery, he will do it every time he feels like it, in mere seconds. He may bother you in the bathroom, or worse, end up out the front door and on the street.
