Over 100 people attended the opening ceremony of the Freedom Torch at the foot of Croagh Patrick Mountain at Murrisk. • Obviously 'human rights' issue wasnt the real deal, they just bash China for the sake of bash, what can i say?

  • Tibet has always been a magical place in my heart, but now it totally destroyed by those ignorant.

  • LOL another singapore? you wish! Tibetans would have already starved to death if it wasn't a part of China.

By the way, when a Chinese tells you that they have freedom to speak out, and you guys then point at him say 'no you dont, your gov sucks, your brainwashed etc' you know what, it just makes you look even more stupid and ignorant than you already are. Get a life, you must have too much time on ur hands. Peace

  • 2 Jachcnd

singapore,India, malaysia n many EU countries.they r same as Tibet that time.if china didn't conquered Tibet, now Tibet must be another singapore

  • Again to Buhhainrough,

As many other people, you have a wrong impression that Chinese is "purely" Chinese.

In fact, Chinese are among the most mutil-ethinic country in the world due to its very long and complicated history and culture.

Chinese is only a name for citizenship..Inside Chinese, there are many different ethinic groups where people live together harmoniously.

Han Chinese can only have one kid, other ethinic group can have as many kids as they want.

  • Hi Buhhainrough,

The past thousands of years witnessed a process in which some ethnic groups absorbed themselves into the Chinese family..These ethinic groups include Zang(Tibetan), Mongols, Muslim, Korean, Qiang, Miao, Bai,Yi, Zhuang, etc...Its the same thing like there are ethinic American Chinese in U.S today.

For very long time, China once was among the most advanced countries in the world, this is why other ethinic groups absorbed themselves into China, and stay together since then.

  • In this very critical condition in Tibet and China, people from both side have very inmportant role to play. There are lots of social and political reformation need to be made.Specially Chinese people,I noticed they r very supportive to the victim of recent disaster and also from Tibetans which is very good.so I believe if Chinese people view Tibet issue from a proper angle i am sure they have lot more to offer Tibetan people and bring some change in their government system to coexist peacefully.

  • There is no such Tibetan Chinese thing. Tibetan are Tibetan, Chinese are Chinese.

  • Again to tenzyy88,

I just saw the news. The news released today on May 18 that dalai lama offer to donate..This is why I dont know this info when I wrote my comment today 10 hours ago.

I think I am not the only person who knew thi s news late than you..This has nothing to do with ignorance or being brainwashed. As a fighter for humanity, you could be more polite to others. I will to you, too.

    Peace.
