@Chavezoid I know this is a super old post, but I couldn't agree more! I finally just read his autobiography & he is one hell of a man & the greatest SS EVER!! We need him back here in Cleveland!

The Indians shouldn't have let him go....even if his playing ability would have waned, which it didn't ... in SF, he was still one of the best SS in the league. Too bad he can't retire with the Indians jersey. Man, Progressive would go wild if they brought him back for his last year.
