MHT Challenge 1: To Kill A Dragon 1st Attempt Part 1/2

Console: Nintendo Wii
Recorded using a Sanyo Digital Camera with 12 Megapixels on a Tripod pointed towards my 32" HDTV due to my losing my splitter cable for the capture card. Hopefully the next episode will be on my capture card, if not this is at least decent footage right?

Challenge 1: To kill a dragon submitted by Sekunri

Challenge: Defeat an a female Dragon, known as the Rathian, without any armor (armor pendants and charms not included) in a Hunter Rank 31 or above mission.

Other Rules: When a party member falls they stay out of the match and wait at base camp until the challenge is over.

Closing Words

We finished this mission early technically, thus forfeiting to Rathian and after we did it we were all quite ashamed of it actually. We will be returning to this challenge again without leaving on a subquest. In fact after this challenge we won't leave on a subquest, we all decided on that.

We actually did a lot better on Rathian than we actually expected too. We went into this run not knowing we would survive a single hit, we can probably thank our armor charms and armor talons for that. Due to my not thinking I can take the initial hit I made the big mistake of leaving my potions behind so the truth of the matter is, Rathian would have most likely have won that match since I being the last man standing would have probably been hit and combo'd upon attempting to reload my bow at some point.

We'll get you Rathian, you're on our hit list.

And hopefully next time I'll have my splitter ready. Sorry about that.
