Wrong. The neck bag is one of the first to start filling. It only takes .2 seconds for the neck and body to get air, .3 for the tailbone, and .5 for full air protection all around. There have been people saying that the new ones do full air protection in .25 seconds. THAT'S FAST! Still the old ones were still fast enough to have you protect before you even leave the bike fully.

the jacket fills in under half a second, plenty of time in an accident. they are widely used and are compulsory for a lot of police forces.

That neck bag isn't going to come out fast enough. I see this whole thing as pointless, it is way too slow. Impacts happen at thousands of a second.
