Im going to put this in my dell e521 along with a 650w powersupply, the computer guy told me that if i did, i could basically run anything.

Really useful review,thanks my friend.

@weemancod What kind of power supply would i need for the 4870 X2?
-
@MarcoThe961 I really don't recommend gaming with a laptop. Parts are more expensive and its much harder to keep it all cool.

500 Watt or greater power supply with two 75W 6-pin PCI Express® power connectors recommended (600 Watt and four 6-pin connectors for ATI CrossFireX™ technology in dual mode)

if i buy 2 of these and crossfirex them do i have to download some patches for some games that i can use the crossfire for good
putsipa 2 years ago
Nope you should not need to download anything additional for crossfire to work with your games, it should work right away just fine.

I have a 550W Corsair PSU. Does that have enough power to run the card efficiently?
peaceplease 2 years ago
Yes that will work, you could even run 2 of them with 550 watts but thats the lowest you could go with crossfire. But it will run one of them just fine.
