http://SoGood.TV Heather Johnston, popular food and wine vlogger at SoGood.TV, demonstrates how to make a flavorful, rich, complex turkey chili that can be done ahead of a big game and enjoyed by a crowd. She also pairs it with two great crowd-pleasing red wines, Korus Merlot from France and The Prisoner, a Zin-based wine from Australia.

An astounding, delicious recipe and combination of wine and food for parties and superbowl events.

  • This was really interesting! Although I've never used chocolate, I do incorporate cinnamon and cloves form warm. I can't handle really spicy foods. How well would cocoa powder do?

  • It might work, but add a little bit at a time because too much might add a bitter quality. - HJ

  • Like your show. Question, can i use something other than turkey (as i cant get minced turkey here) and if so what would be best?

  • Sure, lean ground beef would be a good substitute for the turkey in this recipe.

  • the salt ruins it...black pepper would have been better...all the seasonings already contain salt

  • Chili is one of my favorite foods but no one in my house knows how to make it. Im gunna have to try this

  • This chili was da bomb!!! I have made chili in the past and it was gross....this is the first time I made chili and I wanted to lick the bowl!!!!

  • I love her personality.

  • I just made this for my family and we were so surprised. You just proven to think outside of the box when cooking does not hurt the taste buds!! I was really skeptical ecspecially being of a West Indian background we love spices but chocolate. If your watching this video just try it. Yummi

  • She is awesome! Chocolate, cinnamon, and spicy peppers are seen often in Mexican Moles. Those recipes often also include twenty other ingredients. This is a honed cook who knows her stuff. Big up's girl. Keep cooking. By the way, Ground deer meet would be the best substitute for Turkey in this recipe. The spices and chocolate would cut the "gaminess" of the venison.

  • haha, it's funny, i made my chili and while it was simmering i came onto here to see if i could compare recipes, and i practically did the exact same thing as you did!

  • Very strange.

  • How do you think red wine would work instead of adding water?
