What are the laser looking things that shoot out of one of the telescopes

@Versohnung just because im polite, and not and asshole, like you presented yourself, i will respond. the reason why the telescope is located there, is because the high % of clear skies during the year, around 93%, low humidity and light-pollution free skies.

@Versohnung yes it does. i made it, and it cleary says: Location: Cerro Paranal, II Region (CHILE) 0:24 under that, i putted the altitude. please dont make more of this an argument.

@NikoBustos huh. no it doesn't say in the beginning of the video, it just shows the altitude, but I doubt that's the reason why the telescopes are located there, there must be some other reason, if anyone knows please reply.

you can check the specs on each individual astophotographers in the description links, i think they are 2 seconds exposures (not official)
