@musicredshoes You have to understand. Some folks attempt to dictate the culture. People like Whitney make the culture! She is more than an Icon Whitney is a bell weather. That is Whitney is the icon that marks the cultural divide! Diana Ross is nice but, she was a part of a culture that I was fond of! Whitney was the bridge between this culture and the music we have now! I might not be fond of it, but Whitney more than softened the blow!

@musicredshoes God rest Whitney's soul, but Diana too had skills, especially acting, that Whitney never reached and is certainly the most underrated female vocalist of all time despite her immense worldwide success for 50 plus years.

Understandably, most folks are using "I Will Always Love You" to remember her by...but I was thinking how this song was also appropriate and I didn't even know she had did a cover of it...so sad for her to die so young. At least she's at peace now.

I LOVE THIS LADIE'S VOICE,AND SHE ALSO HAD AN AMAZING PERSONALITY.HER VOICE HAD GRACE,SOUL,AND VOCALS THAT NO OTHER FEMALE VOCALIST COULD EVER MATCH,EVEN MARIAH CAREY.

@whatigot2say Some people are here to Listen to music, while others like you, as they are ignorant about music, they can only talk about the artist's lifes...
Even if Whitney is unhappy, even if she can't sing anymore, She Gave us musical moments of vocal quality and criativity that Diana Ross was never able to offer, even if she as also produced some great music, her voice never reached the Level of Whitney's voice at her prime. This is a Fact!
And who are you to judge other's personal lifes?
