@1crazyhedgehog if you mean the bic sharpie type then i would really not recommend them. There are many faber castell markers so I'm not sure which one exactly you mean but I just did a quick google search on them and they don't really look like they'll do the same thing as copics.

@MangaLessons I have Faber Castel. And a few bic

@MangaLessons Thank You for replying back to me!! It was very helpful to me :)

@PrincessZelda002 It really does depend on the coloring style though. I tend not to color very heavily and with quick light strokes so my markers last me a while xD I've only refilled one so far (skin tone)

@DubbleBubble303 mm marker paper made a difference for me but I wouldn't it consider it "extremely paramount". At least try to get laser printer paper with a smoother surface if you're on a budget? Otakufuel now sells a 25 pack of the paper I use so maybe try it out once and see how it is. I personally love the stuff and can't go back to printer paper! xD

@yerinable it won't blend that well into each other unless you choose very similar colors (maybe like e00 and e01) try using feather blending to help blend less similar colors together ^^

@IchigoMariana on the page? no. on the marker tip? usually no, unless you color with a super light marker over a not-dry black area or something like that, the tip won't be discolored (but don't worry if it does, stains do not affect the color that comes out)

@jennamae03 also sketch can work with the airbrush but that may not matter to you
many beginners though start to use ciao for their hobbies but if you're going for a serious long term investment sketch may be the better choice because they also have more colors in sketch

@1crazyhedgehog I've used prismacolor before but I don't really like the tips and the ink for them (plus they smell worse xD)
what other markers did you have in mind?
what type of copics is best for manga and anime?

@ItsLainGreen They have a special comic line out (but only in japan) but the only difference is that the broad tip is a point tip
Technically though all the ink is the same but what is best for illustrations I find it sketch or ciao (sketch over ciao though personally)
