@01kfreak -- This is basically a folk song. this type is called a "Gavlan", the word literally means "gopi (hindi)" (the girls who would take milk and butter to sell in the market). Will try n put the translation soon... the gopi in the song is urging Krishna to not break her pot of butter / milk coz it's empty. If he breaks it, then everybody'll know she's taking an empty pot. I guess there's a lot of meaning to the song other than literal, but would have to ask the experts about it.

@ framinash -- How the hell ARR came into the discussion? This is Gavalan folk of Lavni Tamasha... when did ARR compose such music?

Just because Ajay Atul used modern instruments for the composition doesnt mean they copy ARR. They are damn talented duo and as a Maharashtrian we should be proud of them than being baseless critics.

@framinash Then I suggest you listen to her other works like maajhyaa manaa, songs from uttarayan. There is possibility that you are catching the nasal tone in her voice. It maybe be because of her voice. There is a huge difference between singing nasally (likes of kumar sanus and vinod rathods) and having a voice that is thin. Listen to Lata, Asha, Suman Kalyanpur, Sadhana Sargam, Kavita K.. all female singers have a thinner voice. Over period, it changes.
