  • WHOA WHOA WHOA! I've seen someone make this story on YouTube years ago, not as developed but the exact same thing! ! ! I smell copycat !

  • This film is actually based on a Richard Matheson Short-Story called "Button, Button". First published in 1970, the story was later used for a episode of The Twilight Zone in 1986.

The Short Film on Youtube is called "Black Button", and has NOTHING to do with this film.(Black Button more than likely stole it's idea from this story)

And the director, Richard Kelly, has been talking about this project since 2003.(When he purchased the rights to the story) This all came before Black Button.

  • If this is anywhere near as good as Donnie Darko or Southland Tales, it will be one of the best films of the year.

  • the arcade fire frontpeople scored the film so that alone makes it worth going to see.

  • speaking of copycat... the music of this trailer is the same thing from "The Saw" Trailer

  • @asseeninYOURDREAMS ...Yeah. "The Box" takes actual thought and depth to understand it, where as most movies require none, so they're SMART movies. I only wish they didnt use the "Saw" music to attract dumb film audiences.

  • @Nightwalker721 ..its a good movie...it just doesnt have explosions and car chases and things flying around every 15 minutes. Its an atmospheric film with a decent build-up to an improbable ending.

  • @July4th2008 ... It was nowhere near as good as Donnie Darko, but it was a million times better than Southland Tales.

  • wow..amazing..awesome..just watched this in webmovietube

  • Lame! The Box theme music is a perfect copy of the SAW theme..

  • this movie is BORING.. trailer looks good but the Movie is boring..and too long

  • this is like the 100th movie with the saw theme song

  • yet another stupid movie...
