@clockworkpenguin i am tring to see what i can do with pastels,and so far i love them.i tested them now on charcoal paper to see how they work and feel.lets me all of my fingers.i done a 2 landscapes,bird,and a sketch i done,now i want to try the portrait,and then abstract.

@robertmyers78 Hi Robert, I do not use fixative on the finished work as it dulls the colours. I store the finished paintings between folded sheets of newspaper, flat in a drawer. I frame them with a double mount behind glass. I hope this helps. For more information see our website, just google Jenny keal.

Thanks for your comment - Had a look at your videos - I like your work too. Portraits are much more difficult than landscapes.
