I'm pretty sure the song "Town" means absolutely nothing literally. It's just a bunch of disjointed hallucinatory phrases that sound good strung together. Not knocking it, though.

Even when he kind of breathes it out, rather than sings it, he's still streets ahead of most of the pack. This a performer that's left ego behind and inhabits fully his art.
