Capitalism doesn't work? Really? Could have sworn socialism was the problem after all since that's where all the taxes seem to go.

Capitalism isn't the problem. What people seems to be unable (or unwilling) to notice is that the US of A hasn't been a Capitalist nation for decades now.
Ever since the corporate monopolies started privatizing the profits while socializing the loses the US stopped being a competitive Capitalist nation and became just another corporate dictatorship.
It's just that the Corps are being more aggressive now thanks to the fear opportunities 9/11 and the financial crisis offer them to take over.

@DelightfulJackass not as well as america before lobbyist corruption. Several European countries have also shown unemployment, when America thrived.

capitalism in america works completely fine. its just that the people are fucking crying about the 1% is doing it the way it was done centuries ago

@DelightfulJackass Yup, especially with economic decline and higher taxes.
Several western European countries have shown to work fine with socialism.

@ah1rooivalk No thanks. Resource economy is central planning which never has and never will if you want prosperity and freedom. The U.S. is not free market capitalism and hasn't been for a hundred years. It is a Keynesian, welfare, corporatist economcy. Huge difference.
