  • Cook & Cleese. Two absolute giants of British comedy in one of the funniest sketches of all time. Some of the so called comedy writers and comic actors of today should take a serious look at this work and learn from it. I remember watching this on TV many years ago and it is as funny now as it was then. Compare this with some of the rubbish we are served up with these days. Many many thanks for sharing this. I might just have to watch it again now!

  • Absolutely superb! This is the first time I saw this sketch. Many thanks for posting it.

  • i watched this in my history class today.. so did everyone!!! XD

  • Although i´m Czech, i like this sketch!

  • This is totally priceless! It gets funnier with every view!

One tiny slip-up . . . it wasn't Croydon (0:14 and 6:48) where (the real) Neville Chamberlain landed with his piece of paper . . . but actually Heston (close to where Heathrow is now).

  • this is one of the best john cleese sketchs ever

    absolutely brilliant!!

  • Thanks for this, just as funny when I saw it on TV, I was beginning to think I was the only person who watched it.

  • @DeadRatProductions
