This annual show is a must-see for machining hobbyists in the Boston area. Each February, members of the New England Model Engineering Society, http://www.neme-s.org/, bring hot-air pumps, Stirling engines, specialized lathe jigs, and other neat gadgets they've built.
I didn't get the names of most exhibitors, but I did catch a few explaining how and why their machines worked. (Be sure to turn up your sound.)
The player piano wasn't part of the show. It's one of the items on permanent display at the Charles River Museum of Industry in Waltham, Massachusetts, where the show was held.
