@ElderGodBrandon i thought it ended rather nicely. You got the feeling that D'eon died after writing those words in the sand, and him holding anna's petals and then seeing the purple lily through the clouds was like he was reunited with her in his death.

I really wish they would have made 50 episodes because I felt like it was too rushed. I think part of that has to do with the fact that we wanted their journey to go on, no one dying, and a happy ending.
Except, without any deaths it would have been just like all the other anime, boring and unrealistic, and no deep characters.

@vze2y6cw2 He didn't love her in an incest way, back then siblings were that close.(now Maximilian, he did love her in an incest way X) ) in today's world that would be considered 'weird' its really a shame. He loved her even more now that she had become a part of him.A beautiful relative relationship during and after Lia's life. :)
