nothing wrong with a smack. my brothers and i used to get belted growing up but we were taught respect and knew what would happen if we didnt toe the line and do as we were told. we werent living in fear of getting smacked or the belt but we knew not to disobey. respect is a quality that most children now dont have. i wont use a belt on my kids like my parents but i will surely smack them.

Shut up, that is one of the most stupid sayings. In the case of spanking, it's totally not true. I abhor real world violence, yet I was spanked as a kid. With a belt nonetheless.
Quit spreading lies and disinformation. If YOU dont want to hit your own kids, not my problem, but dont try to lecture everyone else, as if you KNOW what you're talking about.
