I DID NOT STEAL THIS!!!!
My account WickedFanatic was deleted so im trying to re-upload on this new account. So please dont comment saying I stole this from WickedFanatic

The writing and rose picture with the pink backround belongs to bonafe1976.

So I felt the need to make a tribute to someone I admire VERY much.
Rachel Joy Scott was the first person killed at Columbine High School on April 20, 1999. Her acts of kindness and compassion coupled with the contents of her six diaries have become the foundation for one of the most life-changing school programs in America - Rachel's Challenge.
Rachel's Challenge is committed to the message of Rachel Scott to start a chain reaction of kindness and compassion.
Rachel's Challenge is a non-religious, non-political, non-profit organization.

Rachel dedicated her life to the helping of others and all she wanted in return was a chain reaction. Because nobody truly knows how far a small amount of kindness and compassion can go.

Rachels Challenge consist's of 5 goals.
1. Eliminate Prejudice by looking for the best in others.
2. Dare to Dream, write down your goals and keep a journal.
3. Choose Your Influences, input determines output
4. Kind Words, small acts of kindness = BIG impact.
5. Start a chain reaction with family & friends.

My school had an assembly and it was all about Rachel's Challenge. It was soooo sad and inspirational. It really makes you think about the little acts of kindness that we can show one another and how a chain reaction can start. I have accepted Rachel's Challenge and I hope you all can do the same!

Rachel knew she was going to die young. In on of her six journals she wrote a poem stating she was going to die and leave this earth, but it was not going to be suicide but homicide.

After her death a man she had never met, from Ohio, called the family and told them that he saw her funeral and kept haveing visions of her eyes crying and something growing out of the ground. The father knew nothing about it. When the father finally got her things back he looked through her journal to see her last entry. It was not a poem or any type of writing but a drawing of eyes crying thriteen tears onto a rose. How did that man know? We will never know.

Rachel changed the lives of sooooooooo many people and her five step program is the greatest thing I have ever heard. More than thriteen million people have heard Rachel's story and I ask, PLEASE accept the challenge and show little acts of kindness. Prove that Rachel's theory is a reality and make the world a better place.

I DO NOT OWN THE PICTURES OR THE SONG.
ALL PICTURES BELONG TO RACHEL'S FAMILY.
AUDIO BELONGS TO IDINA MENZEL.

  • What a beautiful person Rachel was. She is really an inspiration to me. I heard that she was in the process of writing a book entitled "what to do about God" I was telling someone that maybe her family should finish the book and publish it.

  • a guy came to my school and told me about this she new that she was going to die young and she new that there was going to be 13 people who died she drew a picture of a eye crying 13 tears and growing a flower i cried when i saw this and i accepted rachels challenge

  • I'm reading rachel's tears. This book is very heartfelt. She was such a god filled young lady. I dedicated my journal to her

  • so sad what happened.

she deserved to live, any person that good should.

  • This was very nice done. It is great to see so many people getting touched and accepting that challenge on schools around in america. It is great to see what great plan God had for her life, she did the "little things", but in God's World, the "little things" are often what's the most greatest and also the most seen and remembered.

This was a little seed of faith, but like the moustard seed it grows up to become one of the most biggest trees in the world. :-) -God Bless-

  • does anybody know the name of the song in her uncles presentation of the last slide show ? it was amazing
