  • That horn and string arrangement just rocks my fucking world. I'm sure the musicians were wondering what the hell they were playing and why they couldn't use traditional vibrato technique, but man does it sound awesome all these years later. Martin truly deserved to be called the 5th Beatle.

  • This is really interesting. This song changed the whole format of popular music. It broke the shackles that had previously restrained The Beatles and everyone else and opened up a whole new world of studio tricks and songwriting ideas, incorporating foreign samples and instruments and generally thinking outside the box. Great video, thanks for posting it.

  • CRANBERRY SAUCE IT'S EVEN MORE CLEAR HERE!

  • thanks george the fifth beatle

  • 1:44- "woosh woosh, always sounds like russian language to me"- dear sir george, that was rather amusing!!!!

  • @cciemail He says "cranberry sauce", not I buried Paul.

  • I BURIED PAUL kljadsjkldklsjaodiwa

  • George Martin says that one of the biggest mistakes he ever made was leaving out Strawberry Fields and Penny Lane of The Sgt Pepper's album. I wonder where exactly he would have placed them in the song order.

  • ahahaha look at Ringo in the back feelin left out

  • you can hear "I buried Paul" very learly in this one! He even says it twice. I didn't know that.

  • it might sound simple song now adays but this vid shows how hard the beatles worked for there songs those days and so much commitment. thats y there songs r timeless.

  • He just seems so unassuming as the Producer for The Beatles, classically trained and all, however from the man who also produced The Goon Show he was used to the unconventional and even nurtured The Beatles own unbridled urges to push the boundaries of music and blatantly breaks the rules with mind blowing results. Even the studio techniques that were evolved to meet The Bealtles idea's and demands ( thanks to Engineer Geoff Emerick) are now standards in todays studio's. George Martin - Legend!
