its scary and so so sad. those teenagers may look like straight up cold blooded murders but something has clearly happened to make them such cold people. its really sad

what did those poor people do to get killed? and that little boy at the end, it brought tears to my eyes. and bazinhouse, please, your acting as if things like this only happen in russian, they happen everywhere so saying negative things doesnt make your home look any better. but either way, this world has always been full of these kind of people and nothing could change that, no matter how much they know about what will happen to them after, they still do it and not only in russia.

Each violent kick or slap from the morons who look after these kids just perpetuates the violence. You hand out punishment when due, you don't use violence as a method of control otherwise you stoke a fire of desire for revenge and so you perpetuate it. The thugs meting out slaps and punches are worse than the boys who fight each other and bully the young ones. They're causing much of the pain handed down. They are in effect producing more criminals for the streets.

@MMalczewska No he isn't - child rapists are at one extreme of the possible range of offences (i.e.horrific crimes) and adultery and homosexuality are at the other (i.e. not criminal offences at all - although wrong in his view). His point is not to equate them, but to say that the reaction should be the same - compassion, not judgment - and a second chance.

I don't know if I'd survive prison. I have issues, and I'm still not sure if they are within me or without me or a mix. I'm not a serial killer, and I've never killed anyone. I'm usually not motivated enough to, but I'm into self-preservation. I sometimes get this weird euphoria feeling like I have right now. People think I'm on drugs. It'll eventually cycle to nothing, and I'll burnout again. I've dealt w/ a lot of ppl like this, not necessarily "bad" people.

I'm told that under the USSR, there was no concept of "juvenile justice". Kids who committed crime were sent to adult jails. Soviet Justice was harsh and you could get 6 years for a simple assault (even if it was your first offense).

I think American Juvies should be more like Russian Prisons,that way they won't become adult criminals.
