I bought myself a GoPro Hero Helmet camera this holiday and took it up to Blue Mountain in Collingwood Ontario for an afternoon of snowboarding with old friends. This was my 4th time on a snowboard, which is also the first time I've tested this camera. Shot all of this footage at 720p 60fps (r3). Edited in Final Cut Pro.
I didn't run any of the footage through Cinema Tools so I still have to find out how to utilize the 1/2 speed recordings. Realizing I should have tried a few other settings with wider angles (r2) & (r4). Next time I plan on tilting the camera up just a bit to capture more of the horizon. I've also built a pole mount with the mountain bike seat post attachment that I need to try out. Also needed to apply a solid layer of hockey tape to the inside of the quick-release device on the helmet in order to reduce camera "wiggle". This is definitely the biggest flaw of the mounting / quick-release device for the camera.
This is a great camera for action sports and works best when shooting outdoors with lots of natural light. This camera is also great because you can review your "form" and work on improving your snowboarding skills, or whatever else you are into. As you can see, I need use my arms more to assist my turning & balance. This day at Blue Mountain was quite overcast & cloudy, filmed between 1:00pm and 4:30pm on Jan 2nd 2011.
Please rate & enjoy!

@Calaxus Yes it is the first! Just bought a board so I'll be making much better videos now that I have figured out most of the kinks. Also just made a pole mount that I want to try out. @Burritoast has some great GoPro videos too.
