haha... 'fuckin coleeee!' what an amazing and overlooked goal in football history... sheer standard of the rest of the goals in this tournament really shadowed this one out, but it's fucken 100% golden. will never understand what happened to joe cole, he was class.

I remember that goal more than any England goal. Joe Cole was always one of my favorite players , shame he fucked it up going to Liverpool , he would of made the team for Chelsea as malouda is shit , should of kept Cole

What a goal! He lacked the pace for that left wing position but he filled in a gap that England hadn't been able to for many years. Now Ashley Young slots in nicely but I still think Cole has a place in the team. World Cup 10' was a shambles with a horrid team (HESKEY aka Lenny Henry WTF!) and Gerard put on the left wing?!
I might be part of a minority but I really think Cole has a lot to give England even with Wilshere and Cleverley in the squad. Fingers crossed for Euro 10!
