It's so much longer than any of the sung renditions I've ever heard, so it would not work as an interpretation, but It's beautiful as a standalone ASL poem. It incorporates many of the things I've imagined based on what I read about the background of the song; for example, the beginning and end of waving to and/or elbowing the person next to you to ask them "Oh, say, can you see… " and "Oh, say, does that star-spangled banner yet wave." Great to see it done like this!
This is a beautiful interpretation of the Star Spangled Banner. I'm a CODA and this rings true to the whole meaning of the song. Way to go Terrylyne you ROCKED it!
this is very good and lot people recommend this for me to sign national anthem and it became success!. It doesnt matter if not fit to the song this show more express and more vision as well for deaf community see it. Im deaf as well and i sign this for the deaf community most of them love it! Great Job Terrylene!

I'm not deaf, and i have a question:
1. is there an official signed The Star-Spangled Banner?
2. I don't sign. How does this interpretation linguistically (sign language) fit to deaf culture?
