It's not illegal to work with other stem cell lines now. Maybe the better question is why aren't researchers using them all? One answer to that is, they are, just not in the US. As you yourself indicate, there is much positive potential for new stem cell therapies, so why aren't researchers in the US pursuing them?

why is it that no presidential candidate has been asked this question.
should any of you become president of the united states in 2009, would you enact into law the stem cell reserch enhancement act of 2007. if yes why? if why not?

have 1 (1) hour program to answer the truth rather than falsity regarding Embryonic Clean Stem Cell Research. Have experts field questions from call in audience participation, e-mails, video questions not answered by Political or religous leaders.
