While Mr. Parker was not in the best condition, his art required a minimum amount of effort. Just because
he did not have a 6 pack don't think he couldn't take your life. Strength & endurance are great and we should strive for them, but they are not required for Kenpo to work. Like he once said himself he was a victim of his taste buds :)

Mr. Parker's official title was "Senior Grandmaster." Also he never claimed the title "Father of American Kenpo." He asserted he was the "Father of American Karate."
