why do people think he's an ass? he's so talented and knows a lot about things. he has a lot of authority and knowledge in his business. a very serious guy who knows what he's talking about, and he's honest and opinionated.

Jerry and Dean didn't see each other for 20 years for one reason: Dean didn't go to parties or events. He either was working, playing golf or hanging out at home.

I will always recognize Lewis for being a talent, but you get the feeling he was never really comfortable being known for just a part of his act. Its partly his fault, because he made a zillion dollars. His ego is through the roof and you can see how it rubs people the wrong way.

What I find terribly "fascinating" is so many users quickly stab at Jerry but they waste their time watching these videos. If you dislike Jerry Lewis so much why are you here? I've looked at this & never have I seen the arrogance or attitude that some claim they see. Jerry is not the reason why his split from Dean Martin occured. Dean had faults too. As they were destined to join together, they were to separate. Jerry is an intellectual and a genius. His legend will never be washed away ♥
