Golden days of cabbies are no more.Money is just above the level.3-4 years of hard work of knowledge pays you the money that you can earn from a local cab driving.Thats so sad they can make money without loosing their 3-4 years of life.They don't even need to learn english properly.

Haha there's some clowns on these comments. I got my badge over a year ago and all i hear is my fellow taxi drivers bitch and moan. Go get a job in a call centre working 9-5 every day and earning £21k a year if it's that much of a hardship for you.
There are good days and bad, but some of these old heads have been living in their own little bubble and need a reality check.

@kippercab £2000 lol are you on drugs :) stick £10 diesel in your cab drive around for 15min and get a job£10 job to waterloo sta,then back over the bridge drive around again then a £5 job to liverpool st,got onto the rank wait 20min perhaps a £12 job to covent garden drive arond again...nothing doing for 15min,now in st john's st,and get a £7 job to holloway road,then 20min drive back into the city.yime i get back into the city two and half hours have past need more diesel.earned £34-10=24. suk
