Thank you Dr. Whitney S. Bodman for speaking the truth. If someone truly appreciates Rumi as many in the west claim they do, they should not deny him his roots. Ive been waiting to hear someone who is not Muslim make this acknowledgment.

the westerners try hard to deny the essence of mawlana jalaludin balkhi but that's what he was. he was/is a muslim. It is clear that muslim civilization in essence is alot more meaningful than christians. why can't they digest this fact? christianity of today is a legendary story but islam is reality of the past and present
