I don't get it. If Derek catches her, where's the difference? I mean, Irving's mom is still dead, isn't she? (the truth is that i played this game a long time ago, so i don't really remember a lot of stuff...)

Well, what happens is since Derek catches her and she doesn't die, Irvings mom will never send that note to herself in the past (thus killing herself). In others words, if Kori lives, Irvings mom doesn't become suicidal and kill herself =P

My friend let me borrow the game. The first time I played it I clicked to follow Sox and was about to click "Sure I do" when the game asked if I knew Irving. Then she went "Wait, if you click that you'll get spoilers!" and I was like "ooookaaayyy..." so I clicked the other option. I did this ending afterwards and went "oh right xD"
