Greenhouses generally have a roof, which keeps the warmth inside, the sky, I do believe, does not have a roof, apart from a huge cold amorphous space that goes on forever so why do they refer constantly to greenhouse gases. Carbon dioxide molecules radiate heat in all directions not specifically downward towards the earth, I dont quite get it, but then I am not a climate scientist.
All very well, BUT,I read about Roman Britain , how they had vineyards in southern Britain because it was warmer 2000 years ago.I also read about life in the Orkneys 3000 years ago and how they caught and ate Sea Bream, a warm water fish, because the seas were warmer around northern Britain then. I am old enough to remember reading about climate change in the late 50's, then there was talk about ice shadows in Canada lasting longer and we were heading for an ice age.The climate always changes.
guydecervens: Don't forget there were also no significant warming trend from between 1977 and 1985, or 1981 and 1989 but this did not signal the end of global warming. The current lull in no way contradicts the fact that human emissions of greenhouse gases are causing long-term warming. I am also not a scientist so when the vast majority of those that are agree that there is a problem and past predictions regarding floods, melting glaciers and heatwaves happen I listen. Just off to wet the bed.
@frpd5 I don't know what you mean by 'sort of cosy' but I'm not a scientist so such erudite terminology is beyond my understanding. What I do know is that Global Warming is what the bedwetters claim is driving Climate Change. The Met Office got it completely wrong in 2009 when they were at the same time predicting a 'long hot summer' and an estimated 5°C Global Warming by 2040. But Global Warming has been static for 15 years according to the IPCC. If this is science then it is bad science.
@guydecervens so 2 'errors' means that it is all wrong? Yup 2009 was not the hot summer predicted many months beforehand, but in mid France it was, rivers dried up, trees died off only 200 miles away. 'Global Warming' sounds sort of cosy, it actually means Climate Chaos. Russia suffers massive heatwaves while Pakistan suffers massive floods, there are '100 year floods' in the UK on a regular basis. Year on year the poles are melting, My Alaskan colleague can confirm this; sorry, this is real.
' Deception is a state of Mind and The Mind of State' - James Angleton CIA .The MET Office is part of the British State(under the MOD) and not an independent Body. Enough said on these sad pawns
Nothing but green propaganda in this video. Just move along.

Wouldn't know poop from clay! Tell me what happened when the recent volcanos flexed their muscles? What did man have to do with that?
Load of ol bollocks the lot of it.
People like Al Gore will make millions out of this rubbish. It's the biggest scam perpetuated on us so called "plebs" ever.

C'mon Dave, this is just silly : "each of last 3 decades warmer than the last"
There's been no warming for 15 years ! ... and NO evidence that man has had any effect on climate.
Since the accurate Agro bouy network has been installed it has shown that ocean temperatures have been falling.
