I am a true devoted Auburn fan. & no matter how many seasons go bad, I'm still gonna b an Auburn fan. Bama fans didnt turn their backs on them when they were down & neither should we. Bama got a deserving win Saturday & Im proud that the championship may b coming back 2 the state of AL. I know its not bc of Auburn but its not like they haven't tried ('04 season for example) I know AU probably wont b as good as Bama 4 a long time but lets stop all the bashing and concentrate on a win for Bama!!!

first of all, i corrected myself, didn't i? so the trip back to first grade is unnecessary. secondly, it doesn't matter who the coach was, just face facts...9 in a row is more impressive than 6 in a row. Bama could have had 9 different coaches during the streak, and the record would have no loss of significance. besides, you don't hear any alabama fans saying "beat us 6 years in a row WITHOUT tommy tubberville", do you? it's because we don't care who's coaching either team..as long as Bama wins

No. One at Auburn in 2004 and one at Texas in 2005, culminating with a stop of USC at midfield and Vince Young's miraculous scamper into the end zone for the winning touchdown.

Tommy had gotten into a bad situation at home and his focus was off the football field. He's a fantastic coach who had lost his fire and passion. He'll resurface somewhere soon and do a tremendous job, just like he did at Auburn.
