Wang Xi (Beijing) First place at the National Wushu Taolu Elite Tournament (全国武术套路精英赛)2011.12.22

Here is a sample of the latest Changquan routines performed by one of China's top athletes. The routine is optional but it must include a set of two Compulsory Combinations as well as a set of High Difficulty Movements and Connections according to the current competition bylaws specifications. This is competition format used in China at the moment.

  • @Toingtoingpiak Well considering he's first, means they didn't, you can't win china nationals with a deduction. But to really answer your question, no they wouldn't, cause he's not standing still, only a stance that you hold is considered a stance and thus can be deducted as one.

  • Would he get deducted for the gong bu not being horizontal during the 1st compulsory combo?
