WTF? seriously? why do you think this band is called Brain Drill? because have a lot of fluffy cats and have riffs with soul?, NO IT'S BECAUSE IS PURE ENERGY TO DRILL YOUR BRAIN!!! NOT FOR SOUL!, if this proyect was planned, as a soul would be called brain soul, or something like that, if you want soul don't ask for that to extreme metal bands is like asking to Skip James for sweep pickings and mutilations, DOESN'T MAKE ANY SENSE!!!

musicianship vary on perception everybody uses what they need if they don't do something is because they don't need, what you're doing is like saying that Muddy Waters is a bad musician because he don't make composicions like Johann Strauss, doesn't make any sense

Well yeah, so I'm saying this all from my perspective; I'm totally ok with you or anyone else loving this or any similar bands. With that said though, in my opinion I think for these sorts of bands to work they need more musicianship to their stuff than this.

man your taste and your opinion is not the final word, what you think is not the same as much people do, this is just your vision, mine is different and that's why there is a lot of bands and kinds of music because we all are differents, the most skilled musician in perspective of other person can be lame for him, legends are just titles that people give, but there is not a final word other can think different and nobody can do nothing about that, because is their way and they decide what to do

The only reason I brought up Atheist is cause they're an example of tech death metal that's still "brutal" but has lots of soul and riffage in their music. Excusing poor song writing in place of brutality is never a good thing, it just makes them looks like poor musicians. all the legends in this genre fused very intense and brutal death metal with good song writing, which is why they worked so well.

man, this is suposed to be a BRAIN DRILL, and the way to achive that is making the most brutal as possible, you don't like it? fine! no body will force you to listen this, some people like Atheist others hate the mix with jazz but why throw shit? that's so childish, and who says that they don't have passion in what they do? with passion you achive this level of skills on an instrument, just because is fast you don't say is passionless, you just not share they passion vision but is your taste
