BTW the Great Sheild you found allows you to block attacks using less stamina :P

you took the shortcut to the end of blighttown, then proceeded to fight all the way back to the beginning of the zone... which is why that door wouldnt open.

Just keep searching down in the swamp... cant be afraid of a little poison if you wanna beat dark souls ;)

@LiekABaus You do have a point, my good sir... lol I do know where to go now, I did a bit of sleuthing around. =) Now I just have to find the time to record our next adventure...

One more thing, when you exit the bonfire and go right. if you look into the swamp left of the lift type machine, you should see a pillar with an island by it. beyond that there are some rock monster things that throw huge boulders at you and try to smash you with them, if you run past them you can find a tunnel that leads to Queelags domain (she is a boss that is a spider-human thing where the spider pukes lava at you and she has a fire sword.) I would recommend getting on xbox live and...

Oh and in blighttown look for torches, alot of times they mark where latters are :P

There are actually four different areas you can access via Blighttown and i think you're doing a pretty good job considering you didn't really struggle with the enemies themselves. Had you found the right path (which definitely isn't obvious) you would have been out by now.

Hehe, I've actually been doing 3-4 "restarts" of the game because of such things, but it's really not necessary since nothing you choose, like class or starting gift really makes a big different after a lil while. Can't wait for the next boss fight ;-) it's fun!!
