20 September 2009 Street Sessions with Shane Cook Music Show went ON TOUR to discover local singer /songwriters within the Hornsby, Kuring-gai, Central Coast & Newcastle Shires.

The event was held LIVE at the Hornsby Shire Councils annual Bushland Shire Festival, held at Fagan Park, Galston NSW Australia.

A mini filming and recording studio was set up to record the performances and the Street Sessions interviews which will be a Special Edition of Street Sessions with Shane Cook to be uploaded online later this year.

Peter Kirkwood was just one on the nine performers that turned up on the day. Peter is a self taught didgeridoo "didjeridu" or traditionally "yidiki or yidaki" player. He is sought after by local schools and service clubs for his talks and demonstrations of this unique indigeneous Australian instrument.
