PS3 80GB Dead Again...

I was playing Uncharted 2 again when my PS3 Frooze and then beeped, I turned it back on and the XMB kept having graphical glitches I can get in sometimes but the disc won't show up, You do great work Sony not... I think there is something wrong with my GPU. Damn YOU SONY!!

that sucks..... it should force eject the disc if u hold it long enough

try holding the eject button for 10 seconds for ur game to come out

While Sony may be partly to blame, fixes are and always will be temporary. Think of it like a vehicle. You can get regular tune ups and fixes, but one day, it is just going to give out completely.

Lost my Battlefield 2 disc with my first YLOD. $180 to get refurbished and less than a year later and the refurbished model is dead. Sony customer support told me I should have just purchased a new one. Spent over $700 so far and they want me to spend $300 more. Think I might have to get the Xbox Gears of War combo instead of another hunk of crap brick from Sony.
