Zaandam in de jaren '60
De afgelopen 50 jaar is het oude centrum van Zaandam grondig veranderd. Hout werd steen en steegjes werden straten. Veel karakteristieke gebouwen moesten plaats maken voor woningen en kantoren. Zaankanter Dirk Doeves schetst aan de hand van een unieke film uit begin jaren '60 van Kees Huisman hoe Zaandam er ooit uitzag.

    Wat leuk ik kan het wel honderd keer bekijken,ik ben geboren in Zaandam,en woon al jaren in Flevoland wathet niet heeft,Zaandam gaat ook naar de nieuwe tijd,het is jammer maar ja sommige dingen gaan voorbij zullen we maar zeggen.
