Interesting to see those old blocks again and the amount of growth everywhere. Have a look at how some of them looked in some of these photos taken when I was stationed there in 1956/1957.

Thanks, all of you for reacting. I'm surprised by your reactions because of your memories of Laarbruch. I't an important part of your lives, so i can fully imagene that. Thanks to economical crisis changes on the airfield are slowed down. No dull glass office buildings yet... A lot of buildings are in use now by companies and Ryan Air movers about 1,5 mill people from this airstrip!!
I live about 30 kilometes from Laarbruch, just over the border in The Netherlands.
